Janice Bisson, chair of the Go Green Initiative employee resource group (ERG), and Amanda Mosteller, chair of the BEAD ERG, share an open and honest talk about living with and caring for loved ones with disabilities in the final installment of our Courageous Conversations series. At 24, Mosteller was diagnosed with X-linked retinitis pigmentosa – a rare condition that causes progressive deterioration of the retinas. A decade later, she’s had to forego some of her fierce independence in order to continue to thrive in her role as Senior Manager of Learning and Development for CBTS and OnX Canada. Bisson, a Credit and Collections Analyst for CBTS, also discusses the challenges faced by her younger brother, who has Asperger’s Syndrome.
